Families are trying to make money last the week, parents are stressing about their jobs, If they have one!
The Australian government has lost touch with what Australians stand for... The Australian dream.... giving people a 'fair go'.
I am currently sitting here, writing and watching Parliament Question Time and i got to tell you, its like watching a group of high school kids arguing! No kidding! They name call, hoot at each other and yell over the top of people trying to talk. Its really amazing that these children are running our country. The speaker (Which is the guy that sits in the big chair and referee's the happenings) is shaking his head in disbelief when he tells someone to keep quiet and they don't listen. And about the Carbon Tax. You have probably seen the ad's to try and stop the tax coming in. They make a great point. Probably the most important point in all the argument.
Why have a tax, when it isn't going to do anything to fix climate change? No other country is bringing this crazy tax in and the rest of the world is LAUGHING AT US! They are laughing at our government and the Australian people for being so naive. It really is a shame that we have come so far as a nation, and this government is driving our economy and freedom to live comfortably into the ground.
And the thing that really bugs me is that, when people want to have their say through different outlets, EG: radio, newspapers, blogs etc. people shut it down. I heard on a talkback radio station last night that the hosts of the radio programs are not allowed to talk about certain things like 'hunter/gatherers' (Which is the term used for the roles of men and women in ancient times which, to a point, still apply today. Men are the hunters, bring in the money for food and to live, and the women are gatherers, they make the home and take care of the children.)
Im having trouble trying to figure out why the big wigs of what ever orginisation that puts these rules on censorship would try to censor something like that. Whats wrong with that theory?
Will keep you posted on the saga of the carbon tax.
